VIA – Visual Insights & Analytics’ ongoing work at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa was recently highlighted in two front page feature stories in the Tampa Tribune.
With Graylan Venture’s assistance, the VIA 511 mobile application has been deployed at MacDill on a real–time 24-7 schedule to help ease the wait-time that employees, suppliers and others experience when they travel through the base’s four gated entrances. VIA 511 allows drivers to navigate through, around or away from traffic bottlenecks to get to their destinations on-time.
Graylan Ventures developed a marketing and business development strategy for VIA that generated early revenue from private engineering firms and transportation agencies and established VIA 511 as a viable technology that effectively serves commuters and professional transportation planners.
Combined with the proprietary VIA Traffic Insights technology platform, VIA 511 provides robust, one-of-a-kind Business Intelligence by offering instant, cost-effective, travel corridor performance information for commuters and end-users of traffic data.
Graylan Ventures is providing leadership strategy to VIA’s founder and management to prepare the company for additional private funding in the connected car space.
Additionally Stuart Rogel, president of Graylan Ventures, serves as a member of VIA’s advisory board.
